Blue Zoo Animation has appointed Dominic Minns as series director of the upcoming CBeebies production, which is currently in development. Both, however, were live-action shows aimed at older children. “I’m especially thrilled to be working on the CBeebies Doctor Who animation,” said Minns. He directed the first season of Mojo Swoptops, served as series director on Supertato, and created the BAFTA-winning digital-first property Tee and Mo. The BBC has not yet revealed the show’s title, premiere date, voice cast, or how closely its Doctor will connect to the live-action series.
