The former Osun State governor accused the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke of neglecting several parts of the state, alleging that government projects and development initiatives were disproportionately concentrated in Ede, the governor’s hometown. The minister also accused members of the Accord Party of attacking APC members and subsequently portraying themselves as victims. Oyetola appealed to APC members to remain united and mobilise voters ahead of Saturday’s election. He urged party supporters to participate actively in the electoral process and remain vigilant against vote manipulation and other electoral malpractices. The APC leader therefore called on party members to translate their support into votes, stressing the importance of a strong voter turnout.
