HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2026) National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan, Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh, celebrated the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The celebration brought together children with disabilities, rehabilitation professionals, staff members, parents, and community representatives. The venue was decorated with Pakistani flags and national colours, while children enthusiastically participated in different activities to express their love for Pakistan. The NDF Hyderabad team reaffirmed its commitment to continuing rehabilitation and inclusion initiatives for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and supporting their families through its partnership with DEPD, Government of Sindh. The event concluded with prayers for the peace, prosperity, unity, and development of Pakistan, followed by enthusiastic slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad.”
