Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2026) A friendly cricket match between the 40 Division of Pakistan Army and Dera Ismail Khan Police was held here on Wednesday to promote camaraderie, sportsmanship and team spirit between the two institutions. According to the police spokesman, DPO Dera Ismail Khan Ziauddin Ahmed and senior Army officers attended the match and encouraged the players. Both teams displayed impressive cricketing skills and sportsmanship during the match. At the conclusion of the match, the DPO and Army officers congratulated the winning team and distributed prizes among the players in recognition of their performance. The friendly sporting event was aimed at further strengthening mutual relations, brotherhood and coordination between the Pakistan Army and Dera Ismail Khan Police, besides promoting a healthy sporting culture among personnel.
