Saraswati Gao, NET Correspondent, Arunachal PradeshThe District Highway Safety Task Force (DHSTF), Keyi Panyor on Wednesday resolved to implement stricter enforcement and infrastructure measures to reduce road accidents along NH-13 and NH-713 in the district. Voicing concern over frequent road accidents and loss of lives, DC Mishra stressed the need for strict enforcement of traffic laws and better coordination among departments to ensure safer highways. The Task Force reviewed the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for highway safety and identified seven key areas for immediate action. The meeting resolved to make NH-13 and NH-713 in Keyi Panyor safer and to prevent avoidable accidents. The Task Force also decided to conduct regular review meetings and ensure timely corrective action on pending issues.
