… says election not war or blood for powerThe Interim National Working Committee (INWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has warned that nothing short of a peaceful and transparent governorship election in Osun on Saturday will be acceptable to Nigerians.
The party also expressed “tremendous shock” over a viral video in which Senator Francis Fadahunsi allegedly threatened to kill opposition voters during the election.
The party, while calling for a peaceful and transparent poll, demanded the immediate investigation of the threats allegedly issued by the lawmaker.
“These and many more hurtful rhetorics have been deployed by the ruling party unapologetically, and this has raised the political temperature of the country to unprecedented fever-pitch levels.
It added, “To this end, we specifically demand a transparent investigation of the Senator Fadahunsi incident and other threats to peaceful and transparent elections in Osun State.
