The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has issued a reminder aimed at anyone heading off to see friends or relatives this month. ‌In the safety alert, the experts said motorists should routinely look over five key areas before setting out, even for shorter journeys. The advice covers tyres, lights, brakes, windscreen and wipers, and fluid levels, with motorists told to 'check' their vehicle is road safe 'any time you're going on a journey.'
