There was a recent fatal vehicle versus e-bike crash in Central Florida and a man was arrested. Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are investigating the fatal vehicle versus bicycle crash in Gulfport. At the same time, 38-year-old Kjersten Aileen-Hermance Strang was riding her e-bike in the curb lane south on 49th Street. Investigators say Rigby struck Strang, causing her to be ejected from her e-bike, landing on the windshield of the vehicle. A short time later, Rigby was located at 2222 49th Street South in St. Petersburg by the St. Petersburg Police Department.
