More Monsoon Rain Forecast Across Pakistan From August 13–15

Another spell of monsoon rains and Gusty winds are forecast across the upper and central parts of Pakistan from August 13 to 15, with occasional breaks.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), moist monsoon currents are penetrating the upper regions of Pakistan, while a westerly wave is also influencing these areas.
Rain and thundershowers, accompanied by gusty winds and isolated heavy falls, are expected in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and northeastern Punjab from the night of August 12 through August 15.
There is also a risk of landslides in vulnerable mountainous areas, particularly in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Murree, Galiyat and Kashmir.
Farmers have also been advised to plan agricultural activities according to the forecast and take necessary precautions to protect livestock.
