JAKE Jervis scored a last-minute penalty as Bromsgrove Sporting came from behind to beat Rushall Olympic 2-1 in the club’s first home game of the season. Jervis showed nerves of steel from the spot to maintain the home side’s perfect start to the campaign at the Victoria Ground. Liam McAlinden put Rushall ahead at the break before Hayden Reeves drew the Rouslers level just past the hour mark. However, Sporting won a penalty at the end of regulation time when substitute Lamin Barrow drew a foul in the box. And experienced striker Jervis stepped up to send former Sporting goalkeeper Ollie Taylor the wrong way with a cool spot kick.
