The court heard that Felton contacted the victim's business pretending he needed help changing a tyre on his BMW. The victim travelled to an agreed location in Yelverton in his van, where Felton climbed into the passenger seat and produced a replica firearm. Devon & Cornwall Police deployed armed officers and the force helicopter to search for the suspects. Felton previously admitted robbery and possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. Chapman pleaded guilty to robbery and was jailed on Monday, August 11, for three years and two months.
