Celtic have not issued a formal statement on the move, but Maloney’s wording leaves little doubt that Wallace has now followed Rodgers to Saudi Arabia. Celtic have already reshaped parts of the coaching staff, with Ross Grant arriving as set-piece coach while Maloney, McManus and Fotheringham have all remained alongside O’Neill.
