Prior to this, I had two serious long-term relationships, one on-again-off-again 'first love' and a bunch of casual, comical dating experiences along the way. When I met my partner, I learned fast what it meant to be with someone who truly IS a life partner and shows up in the way the 'love of your life' textbook should. God forbid anything happens to him, but I don't think I could date guys in their 30s or younger ever again. We've been together going on four years, and we still are learning and growing together, and we've never been happier! My main takeaway is that it really isn't about an age gap; it is about being with the right person for each of you and at the right time in each other's lives."
