Mr Cuthbert was found slumped by the door, with his keys in his hand, by a family member, Kama Melly, prosecuting, told the jury.
Police received information that members of the public had seen footage of the attack on Mr Cuthbert, on Snapchat - and the three accused became suspects, the court heard.
Footage was later captured on Wilcock's phone, showing the three holding a knife at Mr Cuthbert's home and Mr Cuthbert "cowering in an armchair", Ms Melly said.
Forensic examination later indicated that Mr Cuthbert suffered the fatal injury to the left side of his chest, along with other injuries, while seated in the chair shown in the video, the court heard.
