Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” The Gentiles were "grafted in," relying entirely on the foundational proclamation of the Jewish prophets and apostles, focusing our eyes on Jesus crucified and risen. Do we - myself included - ignore our deep "Jewish underpinnings": the 1,500-year history of God’s Word spoken through Jewish prophets and apostles as they understood God and His Christ? Our brothers and sisters in Christ knew Jesus as He wanted them to know Him. May we Gentiles give God the Glory for grafting us into His Tree of Life, upon which His Son was crucified.
