Police officers’ attention was caught by a Honda driving in Bury St Edmunds on June 11 earlier this year, just after 10pm. The police stopped the vehicle in Westley Road, Bury St Edmunds. The driver was 23-year-old Jillian Dojnik, a serving officer for the US military based at RAF Mildenhall. When breathalysed, Dojnik was more than double the limit for driving, having given a reading of 81 microgrammes of alcohol in her breath per 100 millilitres. Appearing before Suffolk Magistrates’ Court, Dojnik admitted a charge of drink driving.
