Established in 1996 as a community health project, Changes has grown to become one of the main mental health and wellbeing charities in the county. Changes has written to local businesses highlighting the services it provides for training in suicide prevention, and staff mental health and wellbeing, and welcoming them to consider buying these services to improve the mental health of their workforce and increase lifesaving skills in the community. The mental health charity is now hoping to get individuals or teams to support it in this year’s Edinburgh Kiltwalk on September 13. Changes is also linked with the NHS Mental Health CWIC line as a referral route to support mental health challenges, and work in partnership with East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership.
