From Lateef Dada, OsogboThe Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, Francis Fadahunsi, has accused Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, of importing political violence and terrorism into the senatorial district ahead of Saturday’s governorship election. Senator Fadahunsi also accused unnamed government officials and political allies of backing cult groups to perpetrate violence, specifically naming individuals such as Solomon Adefioye (alias Solo Iwara). Dismissing counter-allegations made by Governor Adeleke against security agencies and the APC, Fadahunsi argued that such claims showed the governor was apprehensive about his electoral prospects. He said, “Ijeshaland is Governor Adeleke stronghold, not Osun APC stronghold. “The violence being visited on Osun East is to scare Ijesa viewers away from voting and delivering for Governor Adeleke.
