A 26-year-old man, Awe Olamilekan, on Wednesday appeared before an Ado-Ekiti Magistrates’ Court over alleged theft of Aluminum window frames valued N300,000. He alleged that the defendant broke into the dwelling house of one Adewumi Kolawole and stole aluminum window glass frames valued at N300,000. Aina said that the alleged offences contravened Sections 322 and 302 of the Criminal Law of Ekiti State, 2021. He urged the court to adjourn the case to enable him study the case file and assemble his witnesses. Counsel to the defendant, Mr Gboyega Abiola, urged the court to grant the defendant bail, with a promise that he would not jump bail.
