When Wrexham and Flintshire heatwave will end as fresher weather arrives

Temperatures are set to tumble by more than 10°C over the weekend as fresher, cloudier conditions sweep in from the west.
The change is being driven by Atlantic frontal systems pushing in from the west, bringing cloudier, breezier weather alongside the cooler air.
National broadcast meteorologists have also described this shift as a "changeable interlude" following the current heat.
North Wales is likely to sit on the cooler, breezier side of that pattern compared with southern England, where warmth could linger a little longer before the same frontal systems eventually push through.
Residents and visitors sweltering through this week's peak temperatures should get some relief within the coming days, though it is worth rechecking figures closer to the weekend as exact numbers for Sunday and Monday may still shift.
