Yesterday (Tuesday, August 11), North Wales Police's Wrexham city team took to social media over reports of Bank Street being used for "sexual activity" and as a "public toilet". In a statement, police described the behaviour as "unacceptable", warning that it is causing distress within the community and could amount to criminal offences. "Following our post yesterday regarding reports of individuals using Bank Street for public urination and sexual activity, we are also investigating a number of complaints relating to Wrexham Central Arcade," it said. "To be absolutely clear, the Arcade off Hope Street is not a public toilet and should not be used as such. "Please help us keep Wrexham clean, safe and welcoming for everyone."
