The not-for-profit company has given an update on a possible hosepipe ban as 27 million customers across the country face restrictions. Two weeks ago, Welsh Water said it could not completely rule out restrictions in the future if hot, dry weather continued, although none were planned. When asked by the Hereford Times whether a hosepipe ban was still possible, Welsh Water said there are currently no plans to introduce any restrictions in Herefordshire. The water provider warned that customers may experience periods of low water pressure as larger volumes of water are drawn from the network during hot weather. A Welsh Water spokesperson said: "There are currently no plans for restrictions in Herefordshire, however, demand remains high.
