Police said that Parsavena Raju from Boyinpet met a watery grave after slipping in a stream while crossing it with his sheep. He, along with his daughter Alekhya, was taking their sheep to the other side of the stream when the mishap took place. The body of Raju was recovered from the stream and was shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
