PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2026) Commissioner Kohat Division Syed Motasim Billah Shah visited Karak district to review the performance of government departments and the progress of development projects under the provincial government's good governance program. He chaired a meeting wherein officials briefed him on ongoing development schemes, departmental performance and issues affecting implementation. He directed the officials to complete development projects within stipulated deadlines stressing effective monitoring for benefits of people. He also inspected Karak library, vertical vegetable farming and tunnel farming projects being implemented under climate-smart agriculture initiatives. He praised the agriculture department and local farmers for promoting modern farming techniques saying such initiatives could increase local production of fresh vegetables and improve access to quality produce.
