I’m sad to say that his brother, Jamie, has contacted me to inform me that Danny has died after a long illness. Danny will be remembered as a regular contributor to ToffeeWeb and other Everton forums, including writing various articles himself. I sometimes managed to get away game tickets for Danny and we met at many of the matches, home and away. Danny himself seemed to conjure up tickets for many of those matches — a legacy perhaps of his army intelligence work?! Danny was especially good to me when my wife died in early 2025, for which I’ll forever be grateful.
