The Baltimore Ravens have placed quarterback Skylar Thompson on injured reserve and signed Austin Reed, adding a record-setting UFL passer before Saturday night's preseason opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. Although Dallas finished 4-6 with Reed as its starter, he ranked second in the UFL in passing yards and established a league single-season record for touchdown passes. Reed threw 78 touchdown passes against 20 interceptions across 26 Division II appearances. Across five preseason appearances with the Bears, Reed completed 23 of 33 passes for 230 yards and one touchdown.
