IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji and Ryohei Oiwa have booked their spots in the semifinals following their respective victories on Night 16. While Yota defeated Jake Lee, Oiwa overcame AEW’s Konosuke Takeshita. While Tsuji, Oiwa, and Takeshita finished on 12 points each, the first two advanced due to their respective victories over Takeshita earlier in the tournament. Tsuji will face the runner-up in Block B, while Oiwa will battle the winner of the other block. A Block belongs to Ryohei Oiwa and Yota Tsuji.
