Details as RAF Fairford protest planned over US bombing of Iran

The demonstration will take place at RAF Fairford, which has been used by the US military to launch attacks, on Saturday.
So far, the UK has allowed the US to launch ‘defensive’ operations from British bases hosting American personnel and aircraft while refusing to cooperate in offensive operations against Iran.
This new demonstration is being organised by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), Stop the War, and Fairford Action.
The base is home to the headquarters of the 501st Combat Support Wing, an administrative support wing of the United States Air Force, and the 420th Air Base SquadronOrganisers are urging attendees to take the shuttle bus.
CND general secretary Sophie Bolt said previously: “Public opposition to the use of British bases to commit war crimes overseas is growing.
