Authorities have vowed to dismantle criminal networks involved in violent activity and have indicated that the investigation into the Ekurhuleni attack is not over. Reagan remains in custody pending his bail hearing on 25 August 2026, as the investigation into the deadly Ekurhuleni attack continues.
