Center fielder Harrison Bader’s imprint was all over the Phillies’ early lead on Saturday night at Citizens Bank Park. First announced as a strained left hamstring, the veteran outfielder suffered a groin injury as Philadelphia fell to the Dodgers, 5-3. In the event that Bader misses any period of time, the Phillies will have to change their approach to the outfield. Marsh noted that the team missed Trea Turner for most of September, and the Phillies made it work with Sosa. The Phillies certainly want Bader back this postseason, but they have faith in their “next man up” mindset.
