The bus that the Sao Paulo football team usually use was stopped during a trip to Bolivia and found to have more than 80kg of marijuana onboard. After being stopped in Villa Tunari in central Bolivia, the police found 65 rectangular packages in shopping bags containing a suspicious green substance. The statement read (as quoted by AFP): “The São Paulo team did not use this bus; another one was assigned to them. Cosmos provided a replacement bus for the players, who were not even aware of the situation until after their journey had been completed.
