Cheetos and horror studio Blumhouse have teamed up on Sweet Phantom Heat Puffs, a limited-time snack designed to fizz, tingle and even leave your mouth feeling numb. Dubbed “The Flavor of Fear,” the new Cheetos begin with a sweet cinnamon sugar flavor before the heat gradually takes over. Its official campaign with Cheetos promises to combine “flavor and fear” while warning that the collaboration is full of surprises. Rather than delivering one immediate burst of spice like a traditional Flamin’ Hot product, Sweet Phantom Heat is designed to change as it is eaten and affect each person differently. Cheetos Sweet Phantom Heat Puffs will be available at retailers nationwide and through TikTok Shop beginning August 31.
