50 global firms eye the 7th TMIC Conference as Tanzania bolsters value addition in mining sector50 global firms eye the 7th TMIC Conference as Tanzania bolsters value addition in mining sectorDAR ES SALAAM: OVER 2,000 participants and representatives from 50 international firms are expected to attend the seventh Tanzania Mining and Investment Conference (TMIC 2026), as the government steps up efforts to attract new investment and promote value addition in the mining sector.
The conference is scheduled for November 19–21, 2026, at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam.
Participants from more than 50 countries are expected to attend, with the conference targeting new capital inflows and stronger business partnerships between Tanzania and international investors.
He said the government remained committed to strengthening the mineral value chain and ensuring that mining contributes more significantly to national economic transformation.
TMIC 2026 is expected to serve as a major platform for investment networking, policy discussions and the promotion of Tanzania’s mineral potential to the global investment community.
