Organisers say Wellington households are being asked to shoulder increasing water costs while having no meaningful say over the unelected Board making decisions that commit them to billions of dollars in debt. “Households demand the restoration of their right to have a meaningful say before they are locked into decades of higher charges and debt.” Organisers are urging Wellington residents to join the march and demand that Tiaki Wai go back to the drawing board.
