The U.K. spinoff of the long-running NBC sketch show has been confirmed to return for season two, with six fresh weekly episodes beginning Sept. 12. The inaugural season premiered in March, with each episode broadcast live and featuring a new celebrity host and musical guest, alongside topical sketches and live performances. Lorne Michaels, the creator behind the U.S. edition of Saturday Night Live, serves as executive producer on the show, with James Longman as lead producer. The first Saturday Night Live U.K. series kicked off with host Tina Fey, a Saturday Night Live veteran, followed by a lineup that included actors Jamie Dornan, Riz Ahmed, Nicola Coughlan, Aimee Lou Wood, Hannah Waddingham, Ncuti Gatwa and comedian Jack Whitehall.
