August 11: The Marlins placed Stowers on the 10-day injured list today, retroactive to August 10, with a left hamstring strain. August 9: First baseman Kyle Stowers made an early exit from the Marlins’ 12-3 win over the Angels today due to what the Marlins described as left hamstring discomfort. Tests will determine the extent of the hamstring issue, and the Marlins’ off-day on Monday gives Stowers some valuable healing time if he is only dealing with a day-to-day type of injury. A Grade 1 right hamstring strain suffered late in Spring Training sent Stowers to the IL at the start of the year, and he didn’t make his 2026 debut until April 19.
