The first two semifinalists are set in the NJPW G1 Climax 36 tournament. Yota Tsuji and Ryohei Oiwa are headed to the semifinals of the G1 Climax 36 tournament. Konosuke Takeshita also had a 6-3 record, but lost to Oiwa on the final night of the tournament and lost to Tsuji on night one.
