Jay Stansfield gave a diplomatic answer when asked about his Birmingham future after talk of transfer interest from Coventry City. The 23-year-old forward has spent three years at St Andrew's, including one on loan, and scored 47 times in 138 games. "My main focus was first getting back fit and healthy, and now is to kick on this season with Birmingham." Coventry had five players reach double figures for league goals last season as they won promotion from the Championship. Victor Torp and Ephron Mason-Clark both got 10, while Ellis Simms and Brandon Thomas-Asante returned 13 and Haji Wright led the way with 17.
