The decision came as Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service faced what it called "unprecedented pressure" on resources. Romsey Fire Station’s Open Day was due to take place on Saturday, August 15. "A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our Open Day, including the local businesses and members of the public who have kindly donated raffle prizes. "All generously donated raffle prizes will be safely held and offered at our next Open Day. We hope to be able to rearrange the Romsey Fire Station Open Day very soon and will share the new date as soon as it is confirmed."
