Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan remains far from becoming a social welfare state. Speaking in Islamabad on International Youth Day, Shehbaz highlighted the need for equal opportunities for young Pakistanis. The prime minister said Daanish schools aim to provide quality education regardless of students’ financial backgrounds. Shehbaz said Pakistan faces a sharp education divide between privileged children and millions lacking basic educational opportunities. He also announced expanded overseas education opportunities.
