Alex Meret said he and his Napoli team-mates hope to give head coach Massimiliano Allegri "great satisfaction on the pitch" to repay his faith in the squad. Allegri was appointed as Napoli boss this summer following Antonio Conte's departure, while Allegri himself left AC Milan after just one season in charge. Allegri will now look to guide Napoli to the Scudetto, and goalkeeper Meret believes they are working well under the veteran coach. "Allegri makes us feel good, we’re working calmly," Meret told Sky Sport Italia. He will look to make a winning start at Napoli, who face Genoa on August 22 in their first game of the season.
