Minister Kandula Durgesh and MLA Mohammad Naseer inaugurated the 'Thalli Bidda Express' service at Guntur’s Government General Hospital. The Andhra Pradesh government is rolling out various initiatives to improve maternal and child welfare. Significant infrastructure improvements have been made in government hospitals to serve the healthcare needs of the poor. Dialling '102' provides free transportation to hospitals via the 'Thalli Bidda Express'. Additionally, crores of rupees have been allocated for the expansion of government hospitals across the state, including the construction of a 700-bed Mother and Child Care Centre.
