SURAB – A premature Vehicle-Borne blast in Surab, Balochistan, killed eight militants, while a security operation eliminated 10 more. The explosions also claimed the lives of three civilians, as security forces and police continued a joint clearance operation to secure the area, ISPR said Wednesday. Security personnel reportedly detected the movement of militants attempting to escape the area and engaged them, resulting in the deaths of another 10 militants. The operation, however, came at a cost for the security forces, with two soldiers sustaining injuries during the exchange of fire. The operation in Surab remains ongoing, with security forces continuing clearance and search activities to ensure the area is fully secured.
