The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has launched a multibillion-rupee expansion and modernization drive across the country as it marks two years since its establishment, with major projects focused on expanding airport capacity and upgrading infrastructure. According to a PAA spokesperson, the authority currently manages 26 operational airports and provides facilities to more than 22 million passengers annually.
