Sophie Turner has shared an encouraging update on her upcoming role as Lara Croft in the highly anticipated Tomb Raider television series. Turner, 30, said Tomb Raider has been her main professional focus for some time and will remain so as production continues. The Game of Thrones star also explained that her nine-year experience playing Sansa Stark prepared her for a long-running television role. Production began in January 2026, but filming was briefly stopped in March after Turner suffered a minor injury on set. Turner has described the opportunity as deeply exciting and promised to give everything to the iconic character.
