FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2026) Commissioner Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh has said that three-day colourful celebrations of Independence Day have started across the division. The main flag-hoisting ceremony will be held at the Commissioner Complex on August 14 at 8 am.He was attending a ceremony at Khidmat Markaz, here on Wednesday. The senior guest cut the cake and the commissioner presented the cake to him. The commissioner also planted a sapling and stressed the need to make the inoperative air conditioner on the first floor of the Khidmat Markaz functional immediately. He also met the people who came to the Khidmat Markaz for various services and expressed satisfaction while reviewing the performance of the center.
