QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2026) Director General (DG) of Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) Moinur Rehman Khan on Wednesday said that the Gwadar Safe City (GSC) project would play an important role in developing the city's security infrastructure on modern lines as well as creating a conducive environment for investment, trade and development activities in Gwadar. He said this while talking to Project Director Gwadar Safe City Dr. Asif Khan Bareach called on him at his office. During the meeting, Project Director Safe City briefed the Director General GDA about the progress made so far on the project, the ongoing construction work and the future phases. He further said that work is also progressing rapidly on the construction of the central complex and command and control center of the Safe City project. He said that the Gwadar Safe City project would play an important role in developing the city's security infrastructure on modern lines as well as creating a conducive environment for investment, trade and development activities in Gwadar.
