Vaderis secures $152m to advance rare disease treatment

The company successfully completed its Series B financing round while simultaneously initiating HEROIC, its global Phase III (NCT07743671) clinical study evaluating engasertib (previously known as ALM 301) in patients with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT).
The Series B financing was co-led by Life Sciences at Goldman Sachs Alternatives and TCGX.
"Today represents a defining moment for HHT patients," said Azmi Nabulsi, president and CEO of Vaderis.
"Closing this financing and initiating HEROIC as the first Phase III study utilizing a molecule specifically developed for HHT marks an exciting new chapter.
