A spokesperson for Cumbria Police has confirmed that officers responded to a report about the collision on Kirkstone Pass at about 2.30pm on Tuesday August 11. Police confirmed that nobody was injured in the incident. At 454 metres, Kirkstone Pass is the highest motorable pass in the Lake District. It links Ambleside in South Lakeland to the Patterdale and Ullswater area in Eden.
