Propane explosion in Gloversville displaces two from homeGLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. (WNYT) — Two people were displaced after an explosion and fire damaged a home in Gloversville. Officials said three ruptured propane tanks led to a house fire on First Avenue. “The fire actually started on the back porch, and it go into the second floor,” said Fire Chief Tom Groff. “We had several propane tanks ruptured, and there’s also a camper that was involved by the time we got here.” Groff said no one was injured and the Red Cross was alerted to help the two displaced residents.
